This course is in English.
Participants need the Hiking & Backpacking, Wilderness Leader or Hike & Survival Instructor course (or an equivalent) to start this course.
The equivalent course (or courses) must contain at least the following subjects
– First Aid Certification
– Map, Compass and GPS
– Bushcraft & Survival
– Knots & Lashings
– At least 4 Days of previous wintertraining
Netherlands: 2 Days
France (Jura) : 10 Days
Canada (Rocky Mountains) : 14 Days

5- Avalanche Awareness
6- Tracking, Flora & Fauna
7- WFA/MFA re-training

Certification: Wilderness Guide Winter Specialist
This course is recognized as training for Wilderness Guide Level 1 (Front Country ) by the Wilderness Guides Association
Costs: Total program € 3200,-
Payment due upon registration: € 1000,-
( if you have a pair of snowshoes for personal use, € 100,- discount)
Jura Only: € 900,- (Certification: Winter Travel & Survival)
