1. The Journey – We fly into Calgary, Alberta. Our base camp is about a 90 minute drive from Sundre. There are direct flights from Amsterdam with KLM, among others.
Since 2006 we organize annual trips to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Wilderness guide training, adventure tours, horseback adventures and Wildlife & Tracking tours.
On site we work together with local guides from Painted Warriors and Mahikan Trails, among others.
Areas we visit include Willmore Wilderness, Bighorn Country, Kananaskis, Banff and Jasper National Park and William A. Switzer Provincial Park.

2. Accommodations – The nights in a bivouac, tent or hostel. Usually we camp with the group, using tents with a wood stove in the winter.
3. Nature – Nature is impressive. The Rocky Mountains and Foothills offer much, if not everything, to a nature lover. Mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and of course the fauna that goes with it. Wolf, moose, grizzly, black bear, cougar, lynx and many more.
You don't become a wilderness guide in Europe, so we are going to Canada for this training.
