Level 2 :
The student must complete a monitoring project OR further develop the existing Level 1 project.
The area is examined during a period of the year for the occurrence of certain species of animals and/or plants. Consider, for example:
- Birds of prey
– Owls
– Mustelids
– Bats
– Waterfowl
– Trees and shrubs
For one species, a block of 1 km by 1 km or 5 km by 5 km is chosen, depending on the species group. For a complete inventory, a block of at least 5 hectares
The students join the Level 1 course (NL) in a learning, but also assisting role.
In addition, a trip to Spain (Somiedo and Extremadura, April-May)

You will be given teaching assignments.

- Presentation
It ends with a written exam and by making a report of the chosen project in the Netherlands.
Types of exam >80%
A complete species report/inventory must be made for each trip.
The entire process must be completed within 12 months (January 1 – December 31).

To become -Level 3- Nature & Wildlife Guide you must do the following:

– Bialowieza (Level 1-2 journey counts)
– French Alps.
– Extremadura
A complete species logbook must be kept for each trip.
